Prepare  by letting housemates know you will have a massage so you can have
a quiet, uninterrupted massage.  Turn cell phone off.

You  will need space for the massage table, about 8×10 square feet.

It is generally more comfortable to be warm for a massage, so consider having
your heat at 68-72 degrees.

Make sure pets are in a different room, otherwise they have a tendency to want to
be “on” you during the massage.

I will arrive at the scheduled time, and start setting up the massage table in the room you have prepared.  I will bring everything needed for the massage, including  massage cream and music.  We will discuss your massage goals.  Then I will go wash my hands in your bathroom, while you undress and get on to the massage table.  You will be covered with the sheet/blanket during the massage, except for the area I am working.  As always, I will check in with you to make sure the pressure of the massage is right for you, and let me know at any time if you would like more or less pressure.

After the massage, I will wash my hands in the bathroom while you get dressed.  We will discuss how you feel, collect payment, and talk about your treatment plan.  Then I will pack up the equipment and leave, and you enjoy your day!
