About Amy
Amy provides specific, goal oriented massage with results you can feel.
Amy has a unique intuitive presence, perspective and skills from her experience as a mother, pianist and runner. Each massage session is a custom blend of a variety of techniques including: Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Education, Myofascial Release and Swedish techniques designed to reach each person’s health goals. Her focus is on treatment work, whether it’s helping a client recover from headaches, chronic pain, or injury, with the intention to help the body stabilize itself and experience ease. Each session is designed to provide individualized, effective massage that promotes healing and wellness. The intention is to help keep you replenished, energized and injury free. Amy believes that both bodywork and music help us experience healing in our bodies and facilitates freedom to connect with ourselves in a deep, meaningful way. During treatment sessions, clients enjoy original compositions of soothing piano music by several musical artists, including Amy herself. The ultimate goal is so that each client not only experiences health in their body, but also in their life.
Amy has been in the healthcare field since 2000, and has been providing massage for over 13 years, working with Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Naturopathic Doctors, Acupuncturists and Physical Therapists. She can work directly with each client’s referring doctor (if they have one) to provide individualized and effective massage that promotes healing and wellness. She also has taught Kinesiology and Deep Tissue classes at massage schools. She has an Arizona massage license, is Nationally Certified through NCBTMB, and is a proud member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Amy also composes beautiful, soothing and healing piano and vocal music. She enjoys performing her music locally and around the country. Amy is a member of the Sedona Mentorship Circle, a group that helps young girls discover their personal voice and empowers them to be the leader of their own life.
